BOSPHORUS, PURPLE COLORS

I am in the Bosphorus… On the shore,..

Inside an Istanbul ferry, close to the window,

I am looking for the Redbud trees… Absentminded..

I know I am in season..! My eyes are on the slopes,

But alas..! It is too late now, the time is towards evening,

Only the waters of the Bosphorus; To and fro…

A voice inside the ferry..! This close friend of mine,

Points to the very middle of the Bosphorus…!

The season continues…!

Purple Colors, everywhere is bright,

Remark: After the completion of the Architectural (Decorative) Lighting Project of the Bosphorus Bridge, the opening was held with the ferry carrying the guests, under purple colored lights, in the form of a night Bosphorus cruise. This is the poem I wrote on the back page of the opening invitation.
