SULEYMANIYE
A pleasant sound is heard from the minarets of Suleymaniye,
Five times pass, the day passes, the month passes…
In the same majestic dome,
The same enthusiasm in the voice of the muezzin…
He read history line by line, syllable by syllable,
Music that rose to the heavens, every day and every night,
Stone stairs, stone walls, stone altars and columns,
Reach out and hold the minarets of Suleymaniye from afar with your hands...!
